  • with Dr. Gary Ferguson and Dr. Allison Kelliher

Welcome these Alaska Native health leaders (naturopathic and medicinal doctors) as they lead us in a workshop promoting healthy lifeways and addressing underlying causes of domestic violence, with opportunities to gain and share a deeper understanding of how our histories and experiences contribute to more complex behavior.
Come to learn and practice healthy lifeways – drawing from our holistic and traditional ways, including use of plants, storytelling and traditional healing.
This workshop will empower participants to practice and incorporate methods for resiliency including: sharing story, drumming, mindfulness, nutrition, and plant medicine.
Please bring  an item of significance to share about yourself as we create a safe, healing place for discussing how historical experiences contribute to our overall health.
