Part 1: Understanding Chronic Pain – Discover what Rosanna has learned about the new neuroscience of pain and the brain through her own personal journey. Learn what the nervous systems’ role in chronic pain is and to identify the difference between chronic and acute pain. Finally, understand four ways you can hack your nervous system in order to manage chronic pain to make a healthy difference in your life.
Part 2: Mindfulness and Good Health – An introduction to the many healthy benefits of mindfulness. We’ll talk about some of the brain activity that can contribute to a multitude of health issues, and we’ll learn what is happening inside the brain and body when that occurs. Then, we’ll review different forms of mindfulness that can help to rewire and reset the brain. Lastly, we’ll talk about resources for mindful living and end with a. short practice.
